We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced, growing legal team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our firm, handling complex legal matters and projects. This role provides an exciting opportunity to engage in a high level of work, including depositions, and will involve working closely with our team of experienced attorneys. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field and at least 3 years in litigation.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and Summarize Medical Records
2. Draft Motions and Pleadings
3. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
4. Conduct and defend depositions efficiently and effectively.
5. Collaborate with our team of attorneys on litigation cases, providing expert advice and guidance.
6. Develop strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal news, and trends in the industry.
8. Provide legal advice to clients, ensuring their interests are protected.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation
4. Proven experience in conducting and defending depositions.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
10. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
