We are currently seeking a highly talented Permanent Associate Attorney (Defense) to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned attorney with a strong background in defense insurance and construction litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of complex legal matters, providing expert legal advice, and representing the company in court proceedings. Responsibilities:
As a Defense Associate Attorney , you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Representing the company in complex defense insurance and construction litigation cases.
2. Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of issues related to defense insurance and construction litigation.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
4. Conducting thorough legal research to support the company's position in various legal matters.
5. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to develop effective legal strategies.
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws and regulations related to defense insurance and construction litigation.
8. Participating in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Defense Associate Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a specific focus on defense insurance and construction litigation.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Proven experience in representing clients in complex defense insurance and construction litigation cases.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to draft and review complex legal documents.
7. Profound knowledge of the laws and regulations related to defense insurance and construction litigation.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
