Our client, a growing fiber-optic telecommunications company, is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, equipment management, and job staging. This is a hands-on role that works closely with field crews, project teams, and vendors. Assistant Warehouse Manager Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse organization, material handling, and daily operations
• Track inventory using spreadsheets and Asset Panda
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels
• Prepare and prep materials for field crews (splicing, OSP construction, cable pulls)
• Manage fiber-optic reel inventory, client stock, and subcontractor stock
• Check in/out tools and test equipment; monitor condition and usage
• Work with vendors to compare pricing and order cost-effective materials
• Receive shipments, verify packing slips, and coordinate returns/RMAs
• Provide basic mechanical support to Fleet Manager/Mechanic (when needed)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment

Assistant Warehouse Manager Requirements

• 1–3 years warehouse or logistics experience (telecom, utilities, or construction preferred)
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic inventory systems
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a strong plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a drug test
