Job Description:

Siena University, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, located in Loudonville, NY, is seeking a part-time Assistant Volleyball Coach. The position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the operation and management of all aspects of the program including, but not limited to, student-athlete recruitment, practice and competition preparation, student-athlete development, NCAA compliance, and administrative work.

Requirements:

• A minimum of one year coaching experience required
• Playing experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• A demonstrated ability to teach the skills of the game
• Demonstrated strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates must possess a valid NYS driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment.

Additional Information:

The rate of pay is $16.50 per hour. The position works approximately 25 hours per week, and 10 months per year.
