Children of America is hiring an experienced Assistant Director for our Childcare Center / Preschool. This leadership role is ideal for candidates with experience in daycare management, early childhood education, and childcare center operations.


Salary & Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily operations of a licensed childcare center
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing and childcare regulations
  • Supervise and coach teachers in infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-k classrooms
  • Support staff scheduling, enrollment growth, and parent communication
  • Maintain high-quality early childhood curriculum implementation

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
  • 6+ months experience in a licensed daycare, childcare center, or preschool
  • Experience in childcare leadership, assistant director, or lead teacher roles preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and childcare management systems
  • Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
