Assistant Restaurant Manager - Fine Dining

Step into a leadership role at the iconic El Tovar Dining Room, a world-class fine dining destination on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll help lead daily operations in a historic setting known for exceptional cuisine, service, and unforgettable views.

Position Details:

• Full-time, year-round
  
• Start: March/April 2026
  
• Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
  

What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily dining room operations, including special events
  
• Lead and support front-of-house teams (servers, hosts, bartenders, etc.)
  
• Ensure high standards of service, food quality, and guest experience
  
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor costs, and inventories
  
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members and supervisors
  
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and compliance standards
  
• Collaborate with kitchen and leadership teams to drive performance
  

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of salaried restaurant management experience
  
• Strong knowledge of full-service dining and front-of-house operations
  
• Experience managing financials (labor, P&L, cost control)
  
• Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
• Beer, wine, and spirits knowledge required
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
