We offer a wide range of services including Pre-Construction Consultation, Construction Management, Owner’s Representative, General Contracting, Design/Build, Value Engineering, Estimating & Purchasing, Commissioning, Scheduling & Lean Construction, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, VDC/BIM Coordination, and Sustainable Building. We specialize in commercial and residential ground up and retail projects. We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This position supports the project team by coordinating daily operations, managing documentations such as RFI's submittal's and change orders. The APM also tracks project schedules and budgets
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering and Architecture
- Previous experience working in construction industry
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Proven leadership skills and ability to delegate work
- Excellent time management skills, ability to estimate work effort and time needed for various construction jobs
- Good writing skills for proposals and reports
- Excellent technical skills and understanding of construction methods, contracts and blueprints
- High level of professionalism and motivation
- Excellent attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Access and analyze project specifications to determine schedules and strategies
2. Plan project implementation and completion to client specifications
3. Use scheduling programs to plan project sequences
4 Train Project Engineers to assist in managing labor resources
5. Work with Protocol Team, Senior Management and Directors to implement and enforce company protocol
6. Conduct quality control and management audits
7. Assist with submittals, RFI's, construction drawings and purchasing
