Job Details
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support project leaders in coordinating and executing construction projects from start to finish. Typical duties include:
- Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Supporting coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, reports, and correspondence.
- Helping track project progress, cost controls, and quality standards.
- Participating in job site meetings and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of relevant construction or project support experience (internship/co-op work considered).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency with construction/project software and Microsoft Office.
Preferred but not required:
- OSHA safety training/certification.
- Previous experience with project controls (RFIs, submittals, change orders).
