We are seeking a driven Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support a rapidly growing dry utilities contractor specializing in mission critical / data center infrastructure. Description
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and overall coordination
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Track project progress, budgets, and key milestones
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Support procurement efforts and help manage material deliveries
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure project compliance
- Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Participate in job site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Help ensure safety standards and company procedures are followed
- Support project closeout including punch lists and final documentation
Profile
- 1-4+ years of experience in construction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Procore or similar software is a plus)
- Willingness to be in both office and field environment
