Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
1. Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
2. Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
3. Maintain a safe & clean work environment.
4. Resolves personnel challenges by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions & recommending actions.
5. Complete trending charts for specific parameters on special projects.
6. Make color approvals when responsible for the supervision of the Molding Department on weekends and Quality Assurance is not available.
7. Assume the role of Group Leader in his / her absence.
8. Assist Group Leader in the daily functions of managing his or her shift
9. Exhibits highest level of commitment to safety & quality
10. Other duties as assigned
11. Responsible for ensuring all ISO and SQF standards are met.
AUTHORITIES:
1. Maintain Kronos for all employees, schedule overtime, & track employee attendance.
2. Must obtain and maintain Lock-out Tag-out Certification
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma / GED equivalent
2. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
3. Strong communication skills with proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees
4. Strong computer skills preferred with understanding of Microsoft Office-- Word, PowerPoint, Excel
5. Certified Journeyman Molding Process Technician
6. Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and to push / pull loads in excess of 100 pounds
7. Ability to climb ladders / steps
8. Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8 hour shift
9. Visual acuity of at least 20/50 for distance and a minimum near vision ability to read 10 – 12 point font at 12 – 18 inches
