Assistant Golf Cart Mechanic

Position: Assistant Golf Cart Mechanic 

Rate: $20.75/hour

Foothills Golf Course is seeking an experienced part-time/year-round Assistant Golf Cart Mechanic. This position is responsible for performing all of the service, maintenance and repair work for the fleet of golf carts. Previous equipment/automotive repair experience or related vocational/trade school required.

Evening work may be required on an emergency basis. Weekend and holiday work required on a rotating schedule. The expected hours are about 24-28 hours per weekyear round. 

Job Duties:

• Performs service, preventative maintenance and repairs to all golf carts and assist with other vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Follow a preventive maintenance program for all golf carts. 
• Keeps an adequate inventory by ordering necessary parts to accomplish daily repairs and services.
• Performs fueling operations for the golf cart fleet.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Accurately completes repair orders, time sheets, purchase orders and other forms.
• Maintain and care for repair shop facilities.
• Attend work on a regular, reliable and punctual basis.

Minimum qualifications

• Graduation from high school or completion of GED.
• One (1) year experience equipment/automotive repair, vocational and/or trade school: or any equivalent combination of acceptable education and years of experience.
• Current certifications in AED/CPR or the ability to obtain such certifications within sixty (60) days of employment.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within thirty (30) days of employment and insurable by the District insurance carrier at the onset and for the duration of employment is highly preferred.
