Slick City Webster, TX is seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team. If you love staying active and "Selling Fun", come be part of our growing team. The AGM will report to the General Manager as the second in command and be able to operate all parts of the business at a high level. The AGM helps us create and maintain a showcase park giving the best customer experience. The AGM will have an opportunity to help growth within the park while managing brand awareness to community members. The AGM will help to grow the next generation of team members through leadership and mentoring.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in budget management, financial reporting, and cost control. Ensure accurate cash handling and accounting procedures.
- Responsible for operations excellence including food & beverage, attractions and property inspections.
- Assists in recruitment and trains new team members and supervise current team members to consistently provide exemplary service and achieve operational excellence.
- Develop schedules and staffing levels necessary to meeting park customer volume and demand.
- Promote a positive and uplifting culture throughout the park.
- Support the development and implementation of employee recognition and incentive programs.
- Monitor proper maintenance and inventory of the facility and equipment.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and team members alike by adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintains an image of competence and professionalism to guests, team members, and management.
- Maintains proper team member/employer relations and addresses any questions promptly, including disciplinary actions, recognition, and performance.
- Works under the direct supervision of the GM, who will indicate general assignments, limitations, and priorities.
- Perform any other services or duties as required by Management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, some College preferred.
- 3+ years supervisor level experience.
- Experience in hospitality (Restaurant, family entertainment, Hotels, Resorts, etc.)
- Proven conflict management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
- Relates well to customers of all ages.
- Great attitude and strong work ethic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Love to have fun and not only smiles easily but finds joy in making others smile.
- Weekend availability.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to work and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
- The willingness to learn, be cheerful, with a positive attitude.
- Bilingual Skills are a plus.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
