Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our restaurant. Your duties will include:
1. Assisting the General Manager in the overall management of the restaurant operations.
2. Managing food inventory, ensuring that the quality and quantity of food supplies meet our restaurant’s standards.
3. Overseeing food costs and budgeting, making sure that the restaurant is maximizing profit while delivering excellent food quality.
4. Hiring, onboarding, and training new staff members to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
5. Developing and implementing strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
6. Ensuring compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
7. Handling any escalated customer complaints or issues, ensuring that they are resolved promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
2. Strong knowledge of food costs, food inventory, and food budgeting.
3. Proven experience in hiring, onboarding, and training staff.
4. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and issues effectively.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
7. A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
