Pay: $65000 - $89000 / year

Location: Vancouver, WA | HP Campus

What this job involves:

As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will support the Facility Manager in delivering safe, reliable, and compliant facility operations within a large, complex campus environment. This role has direct responsibility for a small team supporting soft services and ensures daily execution across workplace support functions, vendor performance, and service delivery standards.

You'll lead day-to-day service operations for assigned scopes, resolve issues with urgency and professionalism, and drive a consistent employee experience while maintaining strong operational discipline.

What your day-to-day looks like:

Lead soft services team operations- Directly manage workplace support, conference services, mail coordination, and employee support staff with daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback
Oversee service delivery and quality- Coordinate soft services execution, monitor KPIs/SLAs, and ensure consistent quality and responsiveness across all service areas
Manage vendor performance and work orders- Oversee vendor scope adherence, quality checks, and coordinate CMMS work order management with proper prioritization and documentation
Support compliance and safety requirements- Ensure adherence to company audit standards, operational policies, and safety requirements while maintaining accurate documentation
Provide financial and administrative support- Assist with invoice review, expense tracking, reporting, and administrative processes to maintain operational visibility
Coordinate cross-team collaboration- Partner with engineering, workplace support, and operational stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and coverage
Drive continuous improvement culture- Set service standards, support team development, and lead special projects focused on employee experience improvements

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or a related corporate environment.
Prior experience leading or supervising a small team (directly or in a lead capacity) in a service delivery environment.
Experience coordinating vendors and service providers with a focus on service quality and responsiveness.
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working in CMMS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in a multi-building campus or operationally complex environment.

Estimated compensation for this position:

65,000.00 - 89,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
