This individual will oversee financial reporting, general ledger, cost accounting, audit support, tax compliance, and month-end close, while driving stronger internal controls and system enhancements. Title: Assistant Controller
Compensation: Up to $179K Base + Benefits
Location: 4x/week Onsite in the Hawthorne/El Segundo area
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
- Experience owning/leading month-end close and financial reporting
- Audit support experience (PBC preparation)
- State and local tax compliance exposure
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- ERP experience (AS400 strongly preferred)
- Cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
