Assistant Controller

Client Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end close process
Coordinate and perform financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
Monitor the attainment of financial and operational performance metrics
Assist with the coordination and implementation of the annual budget and interim forecasting processes
Manage master data to ensure accurate flow through the ERP system (Acumatica)
Support cost accounting functions and develop pricing and cost estimates for new products while working closely with the Cost Accountant
Analyze sales accounts with a focus on pricing analysis and marginal cost evaluation
Develop new reporting and analytical tools to improve monitoring and performance tracking
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of product cost data for pricing and business decision-making
Review standard and actual costs to identify discrepancies or inaccuracies
Complete monthly account reconciliations and support the overall close process
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to commit to a long-term contract assignment
