Assistant Controller

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping and treasury responsibilities.
Prepare various financial statements: Monthly/Quarterly/Annually
Prepare final records, such as balance sheets, trial balance and ensure if all accounts are justified and transparent with the rules of accounting practices
Weekly payroll entry
Weekly 401k reporting
Annual 401k questionnaire submissions
Prepare and balance monthly bank statements
State and Federal tax reports
State and Federal questionnaires, filings
Actively take part in the budgeting process, coming up with pricing chart
Participate in annual insurance negotiations, and formulate pricing to the employees
Responsibility for tracking and reporting for the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
Prepare production data and analyze information to pinpoint efficiencies and inform various departments of such (departments include Primary/QC/Secondary).
Review production reports weekly, looking for any outliers or entry errors
Report monthly MRBs and MRB cost, to the Production Manager and Vice President
Problem solve how production reports should be entered into Job Boss
Aid quoting department in analyzing data for requotes
Aid quoting department on how to formulate pricing
Continuously improve quote form
Manage and supervise the departments of Logistics, Office, Human Resources
Track major customers inventory and demand, on a weekly basis
Supervise, and calculate quarterly inventory
Keep up with Accounting and HR publications, that affect the Company

Job Requirements:
Bachelors' Degree in Business Accountancy Preferred.
Master of Accountancy Preferred
CPA Preferred
Extensive knowledge of Office Suite products, specifically Excel
Experience in corporate accounting
Experience with GL Systems
Strong foundation in Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Purchasing
Previous HR experience preferred
Standard office conditions, must be willing to work with, and teach other employees about accounting and excel
Light office work.
