QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use MS Word, Outlook, Excel and inventory control systems such as Prophet 21 (P21)
  • Knowledge of irrigation, drainage, well supplies and landscape lighting products
  • Inventory control and warehouse operations
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deal effectively with daily customer service issues.  Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers.  
  • Schedules branch staff to ensure daily coverage including lunch, breaks, etc.
  • Assist Branch Manager with supervising branch staff and enforcing all company policies and standards.
  • Greet and assist call-in and walk-in customers with the selection and delivery of products and services.
  • Train and coach employees and new hires.
  • Assist in interview and selection of new hires.
  • Recognize personnel problems and take corrective actions as directed by the Branch Manager and company policy.
  • Participate in inventory control and advise Branch Manager of problems.
  • Assist Branch Manager in safeguarding assets of branch: inventory, fixed assets, equipment and cash.
