Job Summary:

This leader has operational accountability, oversight, and manages the daily activities of the skilled nursing facility in collaboration with, and in absence of the Administrator. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Require State of Florida Nursing Home Administrator licensure or must obtain within one (1) year of hire/promotion date.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prefer demonstrated knowledge of all state and federal nursing home regulations.
- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
- Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center-based management.
