Our client, an environmental and industrial services organization in Norwell, is seeking an Asset Manager to join their team for about 3 months. This onsite role runs Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is compensating up to $35/hour, depending on experience. Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle management of assigned assets, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance, and disposal
  • Design, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance and repair programs to improve uptime and reduce costs
  • Analyze asset performance through failure analysis, condition monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Evaluate asset requests and recommend optimal solutions, including refurbishment, purchase, lease, or rental options
  • Manage asset disposal processes, agreements, and related bookkeeping
  • Prepare and maintain reports on maintenance, utilization, depreciation, and financial performance
  • Oversee purchasing and build processes for new assets from start to finish
  • Ensure adherence to KPIs related to utilization, maintenance schedules, and overall asset performance
  • Maintain asset data within the Asset Management Workbench database
  • Provide expert guidance to maintenance, management, and operations teams

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Equipment Management, or a related field
  • 1-3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with database management, project management, equipment operations, or facility management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
