PrideStaff, a recruiting firm specializing in staffing for Phoenix and Scottsdale businesses, is looking for experienced mechanical assembly technicians for a local Scottsdale manufacture. This position will require strong in person communication skills and a working knowledge of small parts assembly. A successful candidate will be very reliable, have recent and relevant experience and be a team player. This is a Mon-Fri $17/hr position
As a mechanical assembly technician, you will be responsible for assembly, inspection and quality control of the product. You will be required to be familiar and experienced with standard concepts, practices, and procedure of small parts electrical assembly.
Additional responsibilities for the mechanical assembly technician will include:
- Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
