Assembler/Tester Technician-1st Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team in Dublin, GA. This role involves accurately and efficiently assembling and testing products to meet customer quality and delivery schedules. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to lean initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs, with direct supervisory guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
• Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, and glaze. Mix paint and clean parts.
• Actively participate in lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.

Required Skillset

• Able to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions.
• Ability to calculate basic shop math.
• Proficient in computer use.
• At least two or more years of manufacturing experience, including assembly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in electronics technology.
• Soldering experience.
