Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform mechanical assembly on industrial systems and equipment
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Utilize measuring devices such as dial calipers and gauges
- Perform basic electrical work, including reading electrical schematics
- Assist with plumbing-related assembly tasks
- Work with pneumatics and hydraulics components
- Follow assembly logic and written testing requirements
- Demonstrate accurate math skills and pass written skills assessments
- Lift up to 70 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, sitting, and kneeling for extended periods
You should have most of the following:
- High school diploma required
- Certification or degree in manufacturing or mechanical field a plus
- Minimum 2 years of assembly experience
- Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Strong ability to read blueprints
- Must pass manufacturing skills and assembly logic written tests
- Ability to read measuring devices and dial calipers
- Electrical and plumbing experience helpful
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
