Summary

Under close supervision, Responsible for performing acceptance activities as required by the Quality Manual. These activities include, but are not limited to: final inspection (device release); label review; in process verification points (such as first article inspection and sub-assembly inspection); shipping point inspection; and receiving inspection. Perform attribute inspection activities to determine acceptability of kit, components, and/or shipped packages; documents the results. Send kit back to production team or manually correct kit when errors are discovered; document and track any errors. Perform batch record review for conformance to Good Documentation Practices. Perform assembly lot review and forwards documentation to Supervisor/Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:
       Oversee in-process verification attributes, final inspection and release procedures for assembly and manufacturing practices at the facility.
       Reviews the assembly lot and sends the manager or supervisor the necessary paperwork
       Reviews batch records to ensure they comply with good documentation practices. .
       Conduct attribute inspection tasks to evaluate whether the kit, its parts, or the shipping packages are acceptable; records the findings.
       Complies with company policies, procedures, work instructions and training requirements.
       Fulfills obligations in accordance with the Quality Manual and any relevant laws (cGMP, MDD, and SOPS)
       Perform other duties as assigned

 Required Skills/Abilities:
       Quality control and / or manufacturing experience
       Business level experience utilizing English for reading, writing and speaking.
       Working work independently with minimal supervision.
       Collaboration tools (IE: software systems, Microsoft Outlook)
       Interpreting specifications and parameters
       Examining products or goods in accordance with quality standards
       Ensuring operations adhere to assembly standards, review specifications, work instructions, and inspection protocols.

Education and Experience:
       High School completion or equivalent (GED)
       Required Experience  ( 1+  YRS):
       Preferred Experience: In a regulated industry (IE: aerospace, medical devices, CNC machines)

The physical requirements of the job are for associates to talk, hear, bend/stoop, squat, climb height, reach above shoulder height, crouch, kneel, balance, and push/pull. Furthermore, the job requires associates to lift/carry/push or pull up to 30 pounds with or without assistance. Associates use both hands for repetitive actions such as grasping and manipulating as well as both feet for repetitive movement. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
