Job Summary
The CRGO Transformer Assembly Specialist utilizes Cold Rolled Grain Oriented Steel to cut, stack, and assemble cores used in Core and Coil Transformers. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, make detailed measurements to align components, and use hand tools and machine shop equipment to complete fabrication assemblies. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Read detailed schematics and apply mathematical knowledge for complex frame and base designs.
- Recognize design inconsistencies and collaborate effectively with onsite engineers to resolve such issues.
- Build transformer prototype core models using machine tools and hand tools to trim, cut, and fit together the final subcomponent.
- Oversee the assembly process to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various production teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Note engineering specifications and production processes for future work on similar models.
