Our Client, a Utility and Energy Generation and Distribution company, is looking for a Asbuilt Technician for their Omaha, NE location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • The primary responsibility will be to hang asset tags at our natural gas facilities, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of equipment.
  • Hang asset tags on equipment and components at natural gas compressor stations, receipt points, and delivery points.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent labeling and identification of assets according to company standards.
  • Collaborate with the asset management team to maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Create accurate drawings utilizing research obtained through field research.
  • Assist in reviewing and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to accurately place asset tags.
  • Support the implementation of AutoCAD software for asset management purposes.
  • Coordinate with on-site technicians and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tagging and labeling processes.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for optimizing asset tracking procedures.
 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
  • Prior experience in asset management, drafting, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software is desirable but can be learned on the job.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
