As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will complete patrols, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas and the perimeter on a regular and random basis, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and authorization, and document entries and exits as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, alarms and other security-related events, and communicate observations to the oncoming shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
