Schedule: Part-time Weekends or Weekdays

Position Overview:
IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Guard to oversee operations at a retail location in Lakewood. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control. The Guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for growth within IronRock Security.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor access control points

• Conduct regular patrols of the retail property

• Perform occasional mobile patrols as needed

• Write clear incident and daily activity reports

• Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs

• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately

Requirements:

• Previous security experience required

• Valid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols)

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Active armed SORA license & carry permit

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25-28/hour

• Part-time opportunities available

• Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hours
