QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills


·       Troubleshooting electrical power distribution systems.

·       Reading and interpreting electrical prints, diagrams, and one-lines.

·       Installing and selecting over-current protection devices (OCPDs).

·       Strong fundamentals in electrical theory and formulas.

·       Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

·       Strong communication and customer-facing professionalism.

·       Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and comfortable with documentation and administrative tasks.

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Accurate naming of items in software drawings

·       Understanding of isolated vs. non-isolated systems

·       Complete and error-free drawings

·       Ability to stay focused and on task

·       Strong observation skills

·       Openness to constructive feedback

·       Ability to learn without repeated instruction

·       Use customer-provided information only when necessary (e.g., one-line drawings)

·       Willingness to ask questions when uncertain

Preferred Skills / Certifications


·       Scissor or boom lift operation and current safety training.

·       Fall protection training.

·       OSHA 30.

·       MSHA Part 46.

·       NFPA 70E.

·       LOTO training.

·       Thermography certification.

·       Medium and high voltage experience (>600V).

·       Relay programming (electro-mechanical and solid state).

·       Breaker and relay testing.

·       Project management experience.

·       Current passport.

·       Strong attention to detail

Physical / Other Requirements


·       Ability to stand, walk, and climb for 8-10 hour shifts.

·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

·       Provide your own hand tools.

·       Pass background check and drug test.

·       Willing to travel up to 2-3 continuous weeks at a time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

·       Open energized 3-phase electrical enclosures at common industrial distribution voltages.

·       Collect field data on power distribution system components.

·       Model power distribution systems using electrical analysis software.

·       Install field hazard labeling.

·       Support and deliver onsite safety training (as assigned).

·       Coordinate with customer contacts to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

·       Provide updates, data, and documentation to Project Engineer(s).
