AR/AP Supervisor

- Supervise and review the processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs
- Ensure invoices are properly coded, approved, and recorded in accordance with company policies
- Oversee payment methods including ACH, wire, and check processing
- Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments while maintaining strong internal controls
- Oversee customer billing, invoicing, and cash application processes
- Review and monitor AR aging and assist with collection efforts as needed
- Ensure accurate posting of receipts and reconciliation of AR accounts
- Support customer inquiries related to billing and payment activity
- Review and distribute periodic customer statements as required
- Lead, train, and mentor AR/AP staff; assign workloads and monitor performance
- Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Serve as escalation point for complex AR/AP issues
- Support month-end and year-end close activities related to AR and AP
- Assist with account reconciliations and audit requests
- Collaborate with Accounting Management on reporting, process improvements, and system enhancements
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Concur or another similar expense tool experience
- Strong Excel skills - ability to teach others if needed
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
