• Be theLeaderintheAquaticsDepartment

• Superviseswimminginstructors,competitiveteams,lifeguards,poolmembers,poolparties,and other activities.

• Responsible forall aspects of thepool Coach member swim team

• Superviseoperationoffiltrationsystemandhealth requirementsofchlorinationandPH acidity

• SubmitpoolchemicalneedstoEngineeringatleast1weekinadvance

• Supervise cleaningof the poolandupkeepof all poolequipment andfacilities, poolchairs, diving boards, showers, locker rooms and pool office

• Generally,overseeallpool operationsand personnelandcoordinateanypool activityduringorafter official Club hours

• Maintaincorrectpayrollrecordsand schedules

• Register members at pooland charge forall guests and lessons Provide necessary orientation and training for staff

• Enforceclubrulesofsafetyandconduct

• Beconstructiveindiscipline,helpfulincriticism,andenthusiasticincompliments

• Maintainandkeepallnecessaryrecordsconcerningpoolattendance,poolchemicals,accident reports, schedules, timecards, etc.

• Attend Sports and Committee meetings

• Performotherdutiesasprescribedbymanagement

PreferredQualifications/Requirements:

Mustbecertifiedinfirstaidandlifesavingcourses. Maybeexpectedtohavepassedcertainlocalfirstaid andswimmingrequirements.MusthaveworkingknowledgeAED.Workingknowledgeofpooldesignand maintenancedetails.Mustbeableto plan,promote,andfollowthroughwithprograms,abletotestpool attendantsforcompetence.Goodcommunicationandpeopleskillsrequired.Musthaveaminimumof4 years'experienceinrelatedposition.CPOpreferred,but notnecessary.
