Compensation: $60,000 - $150,000 / year depending on experience.

About the Role
We are seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide production support and troubleshooting for business-critical oil and gas applications. This role works closely with business users and IT teams to resolve system issues, investigate data problems, and ensure reliable application performance. The ideal candidate has experience with application support in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support for enterprise systems and business applications
- Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues
- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Write and run SQL queries to validate and analyze data
- Work with business users to resolve system issues and improve processes
- Monitor application performance and system health
- Support system upgrades, patches, and deployments
- Document solutions and maintain knowledge base articles
Requirements
- 3+ years of Application Support or Production Support experience
- Strong database troubleshooting skills
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis
- Ability to troubleshoot enterprise applications and integrations
- Strong communication skills working with both technical teams and business users
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting Oil & Gas or Energy industry applications
- Familiarity with production systems, SCADA, or production accounting platforms
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM tools
- Experience supporting ERP or enterprise systems
- Familiarity with WellView or SiteView or Aries or Quorum or SAP or Merrick or Peloton applications.
