Application Programmer V (.Net Developer)

Pay Range: $65/h–$70/h on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced C# .NET UI Developer to support the rollout of a desktop trading application across the US, following successful launches in Europe, Canada, and APAC. This role focuses on building lightweight, low-latency UI components for market data, RFQ tickets, blotters, and grids.

The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in designing and developing complex web and desktop applications, APIs, and databases, with strong experience in Agile environments and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance UI components using C# and .NET
• Build and optimize market data interfaces, RFQ tickets, blotters, and grids
• Develop Web/Windows-based applications using ASP.NET and SQL Server
• Create and execute unit test cases for both client and server-side components
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentor team members
• Collaborate with distributed teams and provide regular task updates
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices

Required Skills:

• 6–8 years of experience in .NET development
• Strong in C# Collections, Delegates, Multithreading
• Expertise in Console Application Development
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web API
• Proficient in LINQ, Lambda Expressions, REST/SOAP services
• Experience with SQL Server, query optimization, SSIS, SSRS
• Familiarity with Autosys, JIRA, GIT/BitBucket, DevOps/CICD
• Experience in Agile methodology and version control tools (SVN, GIT)
• Knowledge of Ansible, Artifactory, Sonar (plus)
• Appreciation for clean, well-documented code
• Experience in migrating .NET Framework code to .NET Core
• Front-end experience with JavaScript, jQuery, EXTJS
