What's the Short Version?
The Application Administrator owns and supports key portfolio and resource management tools, including Tempus Resource and Smartsheet, along with platforms like Confluence, Azure DevOps (ADO), Freshservice, SharePoint, and Power BI. This role ensures systems are configured, maintained, and optimized to enable portfolio planning, resource capacity, forecasting, and project execution. They partner with ITPM, E3PO, resource managers and leadership to make Tempus and Smartsheet the trusted sources for resource and project data.
What Will You Be Doing?
Administer and configure portfolio and resource management systems (Tempus, Smartsheet, Confluence, ADO, Freshservice, SharePoint).
Maintain roles, workflows, dashboards, and integrations across platforms while validating configurations, testing data flows, and monitoring system health.
Manage system updates, feature adoption, and license coordination with vendors.
Enforce data quality standards and maintain accurate resource and project data.
Facilitate annual and quarterly planning for capacity, budgeting, and strategy alignment.
Assist managers with forecasts, scenarios, and what-if analyses ensuring leadership dashboards and reports reflect accurate portfolio health and strategic alignment
Design and implement automated workflows, reports, and dashboards using low-code tools.
Deliver training, maintain documentation, and provide user support.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting, prioritization, and process efficiency.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders for updates to roles, structures, and workforce changes.
Monitor data integrity and ensure compliance with retention policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
1-3 years experience maintaining and supporting portfolio and resource management tools
Experience administering SaaS portfolio/resource management or workflow automation tools is preferred
Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting large sets of resource and project data
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to train and support end users with varying levels of technical expertise
Experience with system integrations and API-based workflows
Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices
Familiarity with advanced reporting, formulas, and data visualization features
Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for process governance
Certifications such as Smartsheet Product Certified User, PMP, or similar are a plus
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $100,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
