Introduction

Join our dynamic team in Hopkins, MN, where you will have the opportunity to implement and deploy cutting-edge API solutions. You will be part of a project focused on implementing resiliency and auto failover for all ICS APIs, contributing to creating strategy and evolvable systems. This role requires a high degree of interaction with business and operations units to understand the functional needs of system users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Deep expertise in F5 GTM/LTM with application-aware health monitoring
• Strong operational discipline and DNS-based failover design
• 10 years of experience in design, development, and triaging for large, complex systems
• 6 years of microservices development
• 5 years working in Spring Boot
• 5 years leading and mentoring a technology team
• 3 years of experience with streaming technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Hands-on experience in building microservices-based applications using Spring Boot and REST, JSON
• Experience deploying to Azure cloud services
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible/Terraform for F5 configurations
• Exposure to observability tools (metrics, logs, synthetic checks)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and operate F5 BIG-IP GTM/DNS and LTM for high-availability, multi-data-center traffic management
• Create and manage WideIPs as the single DNS entry point for applications
• Configure ECV monitors for application-level health checks
• Build and maintain GTM pools with defined failover and failback behavior
• Implement and test automatic DNS-based failover using health signals
• Support change management, DR drills, and incident response for traffic routing
• Standardize configurations, documentation, and operational practices at scale
