Accounts Payable Specialist | South Windsor, CT

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for the construction division, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Enter material purchase orders into the ERP system
  • Prepare and distribute tax exemption certificates to vendors for applicable purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and accurately enter invoices into the ERP system
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, obtaining approvals from purchasing staff and vendors as needed
  • Process P-Card transactions, ensuring proper coding and posting to the general ledger

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of recent full-cycle accounts payable experience
  • Construction industry or cost accounting experience is a plus
  • Payroll experience is preferred but not required; training can be provided
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Salary: $60,000-$65,000
