We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AP Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The AP Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry. They will also be responsible for monthly financial reporting, ledger management, ERP implementation, banking management, A/R, and invoicing.

Responsibilities:
1. Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
2. Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
3. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
4. Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline and automate financial management processes.
5. Manage banking relationships and transactions, including deposits, disbursements, and reconciliations.
6. Handle accounts receivable duties, including invoicing, collection, and reporting.
7. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable and receivable.
8. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and achieve compliance with regulatory requirements.
9. Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
10. Continually identify, propose, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
3. Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably with implementation experience.
4. Solid understanding of banking management and accounts receivable processes.
5. Strong knowledge of invoicing procedures and best practices.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial staff.
9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to accounts payable and receivable.
