Job Title: AP Coordinator
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL (Onsite)
Compensation: $53,000 – $63,000 per year


About the Role:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented AP Coordinator to join a Machine Tool Components and Parts manufacturing firm in Elk Grove Village, IL. The AP Coordinator will play a key role in managing the full accounts payable cycle while supporting a lean accounting team.

Key Responsibilities of the AP Coordinator:

  • Process 200–300 vendor invoices per week accurately and efficiently.

  • Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips.

  • Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts.

  • Manage weekly check runs (~125 checks) and ensure high-dollar approvals are obtained.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice and payment status.

  • Cross-train to assist other departments when team members are out.


Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of full-cycle AP experience, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Associate’s degree preferred, not required.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

  • Coachable, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a lean accounting team environment.
