Job Description

The AP Senior Assistant should be a highly skilled, detail-oriented individual requiring minimal supervision to produce an excellent degree of accuracy with assigned tasks and processes and able to multi-task. The ideal candidate would be able to communicate effectively with internal and external persons related to Aramark US and Canada as well as able to keep up a heavy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Responsibilities

?    Ability to process various invoice batches and uploads for US and Canada, provide accurate support for audit requests.
?    Process incoming department mail as needed.
?    Review/reconcile statements, ability to resolve problems and issues quickly and accurately within our ticket system.
?    Ensure that all transactions comply with Aramark?s financial policies and procedures.
?    Identify and recommend improvements to existing systems and procedures related to the 
?    Work in Oracle AP to enter data, force out invoices, cancel invoices and other daily processes.
?    Be cross-trained as backup for other team members.
?    Support process to timely work to meet departmental metrics.
?    Other AP tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

?    High school degree or equivalent required but some college a plus.
?    Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
?    Strong data entry accounting skills, and flexibility.
?    2-4 years of experience in accounting required, preferably in a shared services environment.
?    Strong problem solving/analytical and technical accounting skills, creativity and flexibility.
?    Knowledge of Oracle Financials is preferred but not required.
?    Able to work regular business hours ranging from 7 ? 5:00
?    Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well across teams and organizational levels.
