JOB TITLE:Animal Scientist (Multiple Openings)

 

JOB LOCATION:8711 Potter Rd S, Waxhaw, NC 28173 (Union County) 

 

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for developing, evaluating, and managing animal health activities for commercial cattle operation. Specific duties include: (1) monitoring herd health and implementing programs to improve animal health care; (2) diagnosing and treating sick or injured cows, including routine vaccinations and preventive management; (3) performing dental examinations; (4) monitoring and evaluating cows for reproductive issues; (5) advising on nutrition, preventive care, and general care.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related; one year of livestock industry experience, including specific background in herd health care.
