This busy hospital operates 8 operating rooms providing comprehensive surgical services with a collaborative anesthesia team of 9 MDs and 4 CRNAs. The facility maintains a medical direction model supporting quality patient care delivery for diverse surgical caseloads while utilizing Epic EMR for documentation and maintaining organized workflows designed for efficient case management.

The anesthesiologist will deliver comprehensive anesthesia services during structured Monday through Friday shifts with flexible 8-hour or 10-hour scheduling options managing bread and butter surgical cases including general surgery, orthopedic, and neurological procedures. The position requires medical direction of CRNAs with 50% hands-on patient involvement while coordinating care for approximately 600 cases monthly across 8 operating rooms. Board certification is mandatory with OB coverage required for MDs, particularly when taking optional beeper call coverage that enhances the comprehensive service model.
