Anaplan – Solution Architect-FP&A
Pleasanton, CA - Remote
Position Summary
  • Should be Anaplan Certified Solution Architect/Master Anaplanner with total 12+ of total work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in Anaplan as a Model builder and knowledgeable in FP&A processes.
  • Should have handled 4+ end-to-end Anaplan implementations in Financial Planning area and should possess deep knowledge of financial planning processes of business.
  • Hands on Experience with operating sprint cycles using Agile/Scrum Framework.
  • Work closely with the team to analyze new requirements, configure and build solutions and resolve production issues.
  • Demonstrated expertise with EPM/ERP tools.
  • Design, develop, and deliver high quality reporting dashboards.
  • Coordinate with the data integration and migration teams.
  • Able to do front ending with the customer and perform stakeholder management.
  • Lead production support issues based on severity and work with other teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Prepare artifacts like detail designs, tech specs, data flow diagrams and business architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to build/support integrations.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test scripts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • As a Solution Architect, you should have a minimum of 4+ end-to-end implementations experience in Anaplan. Preferred areas of expertise are Financial Planning and budgeting.
  • Relevant experience ranging from 5 to 10 years.
  • Good Communication skills and should be able to work with minimum guidance.
  • Well versed with any issue/defect management tool such as JIRA or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of data/integration both inbound and outbound with customer source systems. Should possess strong client-facing skills.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight and guidance.
  • Get involved in testing, performing RCA, and fixing issues.
  • Advice Client and Develops Tech Spec, Complex technical architecture Diagrams and designs data Flow diagrams.
  • Work with Team members and product owners to Understand, Analyze, Recommend, Plan, Design and Implement solutions to meet Usability, Performance, Quality and secured requirements.
  • Team with customers to encourage business process improvements, to identify data integrity issues, and to implement proactive solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead, execute responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project team to ensure the requirements are being met and recommend better solutions wherever applicable during the course of the project.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Possess sound technical knowledge on Lists, Modules, Data Hubs, New UX and ALM.
  • Expert in Anaplan Space Optimization and Formula Tuning.
  • Design, Develop and Deliver high quality reporting dashboards.
  • Lead Production support issues based on severity and work with other teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Should have excellent problem solving and is able to work effectively in a less structured environment and manage time.
  • Proficient data analytics and modelling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating architecture and design principles.
  • Possess excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST) and other integration methods.
