DIE SHOP SUPERVISOR
We’re looking for a Die Shop Supervisor (day shift) for our Aluminum Extrusion client in the greater Youngstown, OH area.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS Include:

• 5+ years of experienceindie correcting & polishing
• Must have supervised a Die Shop team
• Ability toread measurement tools (Calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)
• Experience with Continuous Improvementinafast-pacedmanufacturingfacility
• Musthaveabove-averagemathskills
• Experienceusingacomputertotrackandlogdailyproduction
• Mustbewillingtoparticipateinallrequiredjob&/oremployment-relatedtrainings.
• Ability to work overtime.
• HSDiploma/GEDrequired

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Include:

• SuperviseandmanageDiePolishers, Die Correctors&DieChasersonshift-forproductivity
• Manage employee challenges on shift—attendance, performance, productivity
• Train Die Chasers on proper procedure, handling of dies and the die process
• CommunicatewithExtrusionSupervisorstoreviewdiefailuresandmakediecorrectionsas they come through the Die Shop
• Polishdiesinbetweendiecorrections
• Moveproductand/ormaterialsmanuallyas required
• Assiston shiftasneeded(toreplaceac/oorvacation, etc.)
• Complywithcompanypolicies,including,butnotlimitedto,attendanceandsafetypolicies
• Work varying shifts and overtime per business needs and volume
• Anindividualinthisrolewillbeaneffectivecommunicatorverballyandinwriting,and this role requires individuals to read and follow written procedures in English
