Job Title: Ultrasound Tech
Job Location: Wrangell, AK
Working Hours: Full-Time, Days

Position Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic sonographic imaging across multiple patient age groups, ensuring accurate assessments and compassionate care. This role supports daily imaging operations, maintains quality standards, collaborates with providers, and upholds SEARHC’s mission and compliance standards.
A generous $25,000 Sign-On Bonus and $10,000 Relocation Bonus are available for qualified hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic sonographic exams for all required body parts.
- Apply proper imaging techniques with attention to radiation safety and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and image files.
- Support departmental quality assurance and assist with accreditation activities.
- Care for ultrasound transducers, equipment, and Trophon station.
- Assist with invasive ultrasound-guided procedures.
- Rotate shifts as needed and assist in other imaging areas if required.
- Pursue continuing education and maintain competencies per ARDMS standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Current ARDMS certification in at least one modality (ABD, OB/GYN, RVT, or RDCS).
- Ability to perform full diagnostic exams within assigned scope.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience.
- Strong knowledge of sonographic principles, anatomy, and patient care.
- Ability to work across all age groups and in high-stress situations.
- Willingness to learn additional imaging modalities as needed.
