Airline AOG Buyer

STS Technical Services is now hiring an AOG Buyer to support round-the-clock aircraft maintenance operations in Miami, Florida. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on the front lines of aircraft-on-ground (AOG) logistics and procurement. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage AOG procurement for aircraft and engine parts to support Amerijet’s fleet
• Process purchase orders for AOGs, DMIs, scheduled maintenance events, and engineering orders
• Negotiate pricing to ensure cost-competitive purchasing decisions
• Maintain real-time communication with Maintenance Control on AOG part statuses
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of all purchased materials
• Analyze quotes and recommend cost-effective vendor solutions
• Coordinate with Receiving to resolve discrepancies in parts, pricing, or documentation
• Monitor supplier performance on pricing, quality, and reliability
• Maintain compliance with Amerijet and FAA quality standards

What You Need:

• Associate Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experience
• 1–2 years of technical purchasing experience preferred
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and financial responsibility
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 environment
• Must be highly motivated and able to multitask under pressure
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
