We are a technician-led MRO and charter operator seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations at Gwinnett County Airport in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance shop to ensure efficiency and high-quality work.
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks while tracking work orders accurately.
- Manage EBIS 3 and Veryon maintenance tracking systems to maintain FAA compliance.
- Coordinate with partner organizations, including SWAS and Southwest Aviation Services.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives using the double-mechanic review standard.
- Recruit, train, and mentor junior mechanics.
- Assist with hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance work when needed.
Requirements:
- Experience managing aircraft maintenance operations in an MRO or similar environment.
- Knowledge of EBIS 3 and/or Veryon maintenance tracking systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of FAA documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
- 7–10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including leadership.
- Experience with turboprops and light jets such as King Air, Cessna Citation, and PT6-powered aircraft.
