AI/ML Algorithm Engineers (Biomedical Signals)

- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and deep learning models for biomedical applications
- Develop advanced algorithms using machine learning, DSP, optimization, and numerical modeling
- Train and evaluate models on large datasets using cloud infrastructure
- Prototype new technologies and contribute patentable ideas
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers across R&D
- Support clinical studies, including data collection, statistical analysis, and validation
- Implement physiological measurement algorithms on embedded systems
- Deliver high quality, well documented software
Requirements:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering (or related field)
- 3-10+ years of work experience in AI/ML, signal processing, and algorithm development specifically in the Biomedical or Medical Device Industry.
- Medical device or biotechnology industry experience required
- Strong experience with ML/DL techniques (CNNs, RNNs, regression, classification, clustering)
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or scikit learn
- Experience with DSP, embedded systems, and physiological signal analysis (ECG, EEG, EMG, etc.)
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
- Understanding of human physiology and clinical protocol design
- Prior application of AI/ML and DSP techniques to biomedical signals
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
