Position: Ag. Equipment Operator
Requirements: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license
following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no
cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
Job Description: The operation is a farm and cattle ranch in Northeast Colorado. We have irrigated farm ground and custom graze cattle. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products suchas fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; clean work areas; construct facilities; construct structures to support plant growth; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; feel plants/crops leaves and note coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; mix materials,
dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops;
record information about crops; regulate conditions; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair,
maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding,
thinning, pruning crops; trap and destroy pests; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air
tools, electric tools; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the
workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt
moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled
machinery, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractors, Four-wheeler. The workers will be performing the duties to
help produce: cattle, grain sorghum, hay, silage. Candidate must be proficient in English communication. Have the ability to communicate via cell hone both verbally and through texting. Candidate must come to work, ready to work and with a positive attitude. Must be good with cattle and have the ability to handle calving issues when they arise.
Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 60
Schedule: 7am-5:30p, m-sat
Anticipated Period of Employment: 7/16/25-10/20/25

Effective 1/1/25: Overtime must be paid after 48 hours/week, or 56 hours/week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers
