What You'll Do: As an Agency Training & Development Specialist you will conduct needs analysis and assist with the design and instruction of training and developmental courses impacting a variety of product lines (Members Choice, Personal Lines, Life, Commercial, etc.). As part of a valuable and skilled team, flexibility is key as you will have other duties as assigned. You will also:

• Help shape and drive agent experience during agent training. Organize the logistics, order food, and assist with the overall training experience.
• Develop and manage the agency training calendar, including all regional and centralized training sessions for new agents, sales associates, district managers and other parties as needed. Manage field communication of Agent Training and act as travel liaison.
• Assist the Director Agency Training & Development, Agency Trainers and Field Training Consultants with building the knowledge base and skill level of Agents and field staff.
• Assist with the development of training materials to support the multi-line curriculum and participate in special projects.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• College degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or equivalent plus one year relevant work experience required.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to work well with the agents/registered reps in a multi-line exclusive agent channel.
• Must have strong problem solving, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required.
• Some opportunities for travel (up to 25%).
• Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
