POSITION: AG Equipment Operator. REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience required operating agricultural equipment and heavy-duty construction equipment. On-site training will be provided on proper use of all equipment. Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time. Detail-oriented Ability to work as a team player. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid post-accident and/or upon suspension drug testing. Any employee who declines to take or fails a drug test will be immediately terminated. Workers who possess a valid driver's license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctor's certificate as required by 29 CFR 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver's license or doctor's certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise. JOB DESCRIPTION: Operate farm equipment for swathing, raking, baling hay; Direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting of crops; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as scooping, sweeping, loading; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Drive pickup with trailer or flatbed to move inputs to various locations; Clean shop and work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain inventory; Haul and spread fertilizer and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures such as waterers; Attach implements using hand tools; Weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; Speak and understand English. Performs other duties as required. ANTICIPATED HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK: 40 hours per week SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: 5/1/2025 - 1/31/2026.
